SUMMER EVENTS:

2. Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie – For fitness enthusiasts looking for an endurance challenge, this event held in May is perfect. Participants can swim, bike, and run through the scenic beaches and hills of Port Macquarie.

3. Bathurst Autofest – Another popular event held in March, this festival celebrates auto enthusiasts and car owners from around the world. The event showcases classic, modified, and muscle cars, and includes a range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

4. Tumbafest – This festival held in February, allows visitors to explore the best of Tumbarumba's culture and local produce. There’s live music, food and wine tastings and farm tours.

WINTER EVENTS:

1. Bathurst Winter Festival – Held in July, this festival transforms the town of Bathurst into a winter wonderland. Visitors can enjoy ice skating, light displays, market stalls, and live entertainment and keep warm with a mug of hot chocolate or mulled wine.

2. Canowindra Balloon Challenge – Held in April, this event offers hot air balloon rides with stunning views of Central Ranges landscapes. Visitors can also explore the town's food, wine, and craft markets.

3. Yarrangobilly Caves Open Day – This event held in August is an excellent opportunity to explore the region's famous limestone caves. Visitors can take guided tours through the caves and explore the surrounding hiking trails.

4. Crookwell Potato Festival – Held in May, this quirky festival offers visitors a chance to enjoy the town's famous potatoes through potato-themed activities, music, crafts and chefs demonstrations.

SPRING EVENTS:

1. Corinbank Music Festival – Held in September, this music festival is a must for all music lovers. Visitors can enjoy a line-up of bands and DJs, arts and craft stalls, and food vendors in a beautiful bushland setting.

2. Deep Space Open Weekend – During this event in October, visitors can explore the science behind space exploration. The event includes tours of the observatory, talks from astronomers and astrophysicists, and hands-on activities for kids.

3. Orange Apple Fest – Held in April the festival celebrates the apple harvest in Orange, and visitors can enjoy apple tasting, farm tours, cooking demos and cider tastings.

4. Cowra Cherry Blossom Festival – This festival held every September is when the Cherry Blossoms bloom and visitors can enjoy 10-day events program of local music, food and wine offerings, cultural demonstrations including the thousand cranes festival.
